Poorly Pt Cruiser
On my way home from work the other day my Cruiser died. No engine, no warning lights, no wipers, no radio. However it is not complete power failure as the central locking, electric windows and headlights still work. Any suggestions? Help/advice needed please.

Hi There
Have you tried code check ,
if you still got power Place the key into the ignition.
Turn the key towards the windshield (without starting the engine) and back again.
Do the above 3 times and with the last turn the key left pointing forward (towards the windshield).
All three turns should be made within 5 seconds. (it took me practice but does work}
If you did it right, in the middle dial where the odometer is,
the fault codes (something like P0 )stored in the computer will come up.
If there's no codes stored in the computer, it should read "done".
Or take your battery off for an hour , check your battery is fully charged , put battery back on and try starting PT , check if
any codes come up .
hope this helps
